BAGLIETTO is a bespoke superyacht shipyard, based in La Spezia, Italy. The builder has built on a rich heritage of Italian craftsmanship and innovation since 1854. At the end of the 1880s, Baglietto established itself as a popular builder of racing yachts which won numerous regattas. One of the most unusual orders from the yard was that of an elegant transport boat for Pope Leo XIII, delivered in 1888. In 1906, the shipyard launched Giuseppina, the 22.6-meter tallest motor cruising yacht ever built in Italy. The reputation of the yard exploded with the delivery of fast patrol boats and anti-submarine ships during the First World War. At the end of the 1970s, the builder began to evolve in the world of superyachts, ending production in wood and starting construction in aluminum. Baglietto in 2012 was acquired by the Gavio group, a large Italian industrial company which also owns Cerri Cantieri Navali (CCN). Baglietto is also part of the Sybass mega yacht association. In 2017, the automaker delivered the first of a new Fast series, the 46-meter Fast named Lucky Me. Another new model series debuted in 2017 with the T-48 Andiamo designed by Paszkowski, which was a finalist. for the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards the following year. In 2022, Baglietto is launching a new program, which aims for a sustainable and environmentally friendly commitment, the B Raised To Zero.
